Course Overview
This course is designed to empower managers and human resources professionals to make legally compliant recruitment, interviewing, and hiring decisions. Our training combines an overview of the employment laws impacting talent acquisition with practical guidance on tailoring the process to reflect your organization’s strategy and goals.

Learning Outcomes
After this training, participants will be able to perform in their role with an understanding of the following:
  • How Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws impact recruiting, interviewing, and hiring
  • Applicant privacy requirements
  • Best practices for documenting the interview and selection processes
  • How to align your talent acquisition and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (D, E, & I) strategies
  • How to avoid prohibited questions, make permissible inquiries about challenging subjects and handle situations where candidates volunteer information you may not ask for legally
  • Methods for managing internal candidate expectations and communications to reduce risk
