• Obtained summary judgment for national banking entity in civil litigation alleging negligent maintenance of consumer account that allegedly violated the EFTA.
  
  
• Successfully represented financial services company in a consumer arbitration where the consumer alleged company owed her over $100,000 for fraudulent transfer after she voluntarily transferred funds from the company to a third-party whom she believed to be an authorized broker-dealer for investment in cryptocurrency. The individual was a scam artist who impersonated an authorized broker. The consumer attempted to argue that under the EFTA, the transfer of funds was not authorized, and the company should return the funds. After a hearing, the arbitrator dismissed all claims against the company.
  
  
• Represented leading consumer and business bank in NDGA suit brought by two consumer plaintiffs seeking recovery for alleged violations of the FCRA. The consumer plaintiffs contended that the bank negligently or willfully failed to reasonably investigate credit disputes made by Plaintiffs concerning an automobile loan. After investigation and evaluation, client was able to settle early and efficiently for below the allocated authority.
  
  
• Negotiated employee exit from home builder company for employee’s suspected violations of RESPA.
  
  
• Obtained dismissal for provider of outsourced customer contact and marketing company in the industry leading TCPA class action litigation.
