Lawrence & Bundy is seeking to hire a Scheduler as part of a one-year paid law firm fellowship position beginning in early June 2023. This position maintains the firm's Co-Managing Partner's schedule, travel plans, and related records and acts as a liaison with clients, community organizations, and the public. This individual will work closely with attorneys and staff to ensure efficient and seamless day-to-day delivery of exceptional client service. Attention to detail is a must, as is a can-do problem solving attitude. Sense of humor is a must. Previous executive level scheduling experience preferred. Applicants intending to attend law school in Fall 2024 welcome. This is an on-site position.
WORKING CONDITIONS
During normal conditions, work is performed in an office environment where noise levels are usually moderate;
Hours will vary depending on the Partner's schedule.
Prepares the daily schedule for the Partner;
Prepares detailed itineraries for the Partner, including important numbers, locations and contact names;
Briefs the Partner on all scheduling activities, logistics, and requests;
Makes reservations for the Partner's air travel, ground transportation, and lodging;
Responds to all invitations, either by written correspondence or by personal telephone call;
Ensures that the Partner is provided with briefing materials for each event by coordinating with attorneys, community organizations, and event participants;
Helps to maintain the Partner's Daily Call and To-do lists;
Helps to maintain the Partner's files, including notes, correspondence, and all information relating to client and community commitments;
Coordinates scheduling and assists in the preparation of materials for speaking engagements, conferences, Board commitments, and the press;
Conducts preliminary online research in preparation for webinars, meetings and events;
Assists with general office tasks to maintain a client-ready environment;
Answers phones and handles relief receptionist duties, as needed;
Assists with logistics, registration, and set-up and break-down of events, as well as materials and technical aspects of webinars;
Maintains contact database and filing;
Accepts constructive criticism and direction;
Meets attendance requirements as established by the office;
Works well under pressure and handles stress;
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree required. Prior law firm experience is strongly preferred, but not required.

Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite, Excel, iManage, and Monday.com;
