  • Anti-Discrimination and Professionalism in the Workplace


Course Overview
This course helps your organization cultivate a more respectful workplace culture. It combines a discussion of anti-discrimination federal laws with your organizational policies.  Modified versions incorporating state specific laws are available.

Learning Outcomes
After this training, participants will be able to perform in their role with an understanding of the following:
  • Overview of EEO laws
  • Understanding and preventing illegal discrimination, harassment, and retaliation
  • Overview of unprofessional workplace conduct
  • Comparison between federal law and your organization’s anti-discrimination, anti-harassment, and anti-retaliation policies

Other Featured Topics
  • Respectful workplace policies (e.g., anti-bullying, workplace violence prevention, open door, and weapons in the workplace policies)
  • Employee privacy including confidentiality, workplace monitoring, and social media policies
  • Your role in creating a culture of respect

Course Format
Anti-Discrimination and Professionalism in the Workplace is offered in three formats:
  • HR Professionals (2 hours)
  • People Leaders (1.5 hours)
  • Workforce (1 hour)
